“This was a good road win to finish out the regular season. We were able to get separation in the 2nd quarter and started the 3rd quarter with a big run. It was good to see us continue to have balanced scoring with 4 players in double figures. Parker did a great job finishing around the basket and Karl, Grant and Noah all had stretches from the 3-point line. We are excited to begin preparation for the tournament.”
With the win, the Dutch improved to 19-2 on the season. Their next game is now Monday, when they will host Centerville in the first round of the Class 3A Substate 6 tournament. The Big Reds are 5-12 overall and finished 6th in the 7-team South Central Conference, which includes Knoxville, with a 4-8 mark.
